When receiving the package I noticed a bright long yellow sticker about not being Street legal. How ever you want to check your local laws. I shown it to my sheriff's office and we seen no issue. After install, all lights could be seen clearly in the day when activated.These look great and are dark, but not so dark that they cannot be seen at day or night. Good fit and came with new bulbs. Added a nice touch to replace broken factory light coversOnly bad thing was there was some scratches on the when they arrived. Otherwise they look great and give the truck a nice look.They leave gaps, which I sealed with some thin foam weather stripping(black to blend in).No longer have the dakota, but would definitely recommend.Just be prepared to have an obvious gap between the bed body and the assembly. I applied the weather stripping to the outside edge of the assemblies; Made it look like a factory seal.Completely changed the look of my 07 Dakota and I love it. Well worth the money. I expected them to be a light black smoke, they came in to be more of a dark maroon colored. Function well and fit as good as stock.Easy to install, look great, no problems with PA state vehicle inspection.They look great, even included the bulbs AND new sockets, so the only thing you have to do is remove 1 screw and disconnect 1 wire. I was so impressed by the quality, and that's not even taking into account the sheer aesthetic quality of the "smoked" lenses.Put it on easily looks awesome. Especially at night takes like 10 minutes to put it on. Not only that but for $56 for two brake lights that normally would cost almost $85 a piece I am definitely not complaining and neither would anybody else.
