This little lantern is perfect for my space. Turning on lights to navigate around corners and obstacles just to get to the bathroom door only to then have to walk up a couple of steps in the dark to pee is a pain in the ass and this lantern solved that problem. 10/10.I love these lights. They are sturdy and well made. The gold is a nice gold. Not crazy yellow, just a nice slightly warm gold. I wanted some small lights on either side of our guest room bed. Since our space is so small, I wanted something that didn't overpower the space. I hung them with foldable hooks on either side of the bed. When the kiddos coming to stay the night I can easily remove the lights so the kids don't damage them. They also double as emergency lights in the event of a power outage. Win, win, win in my opinion! I also love that there are 3 light temperatures to choose from. Buy them!!!!!Goes perfect in any roomThis cordless USB lantern is absolutely beautiful. It gives off such a nice atmospheric glow that’s hard to truly capture in photos - it’s even better in person!Whether off or on, it looks very pretty and eye-catching sitting in a room. The clean, minimalist shape is modern. Yet, something about the lantern design adds a cozy feel to any space.The dimmer works wonderfully, and it goes from a low barely-there glow to an almost unexpected brightness. Add to that, 3 different light modes (warm, white, and natural), and it seems as if there are infinite lighting options to choose from, as you can adjust both the color and brightness level to your exact specifications.As the handle rotates, you can hang the lantern in different ways from the ceiling or wall - aligning the lamp upright, upside down, or even horizontally, at a 90 degree angle.The ability to tote it around as a nightlight when you want to go to the bathroom or kitchen is also very convenient. My husband and I sometimes use it on one of the dimmest settings when the other is trying to sleep and one of us is still moving around the bedroom.Although it's sturdy and looks very solid, the lantern doesn't weigh much, making it extremely portable. Since it’s a cordless USB lantern, we also figure we can have this in our tent the next time we go camping!One of my favorite things about this Keyearth lantern, in comparison to some of the other “similar” lanterns around, is the fact that the bulb is shaped distinctly like an orb. It may seem like just a small design detail but it really makes a difference in the feel of the lighting. When lit in the dark, it looks like the moon glowing, and is much more beautiful because of it.I was very impressed by this cute, classy looking, USB lamp. It's actually made of metal and glass (instead of the typical plastic, or metal(ish) and plastic you get in this product class). It looks great, and the unique design allows a wide range of uses-- I even imagined hanging it from a hook on the wall.The handle rotates around the light a full 360 degrees, so the light can be positioned in almost any way you might want it. The three light colors are a nice touch (although I typically only use the warm white setting, as the bright white is harsh for my eyes), and the dimmer switch is really awesome. If you've ever camped with a one-trick-lantern that's too bright, you'll understand.The amount of light produced is very good, and charging is easy enough with any USB-C cord. Longevity will, of course, be a consideration.Overall, however, this little lamp is a bit expensive for what it is-- I like the metal/glass build, and the dimming feature, but it feels like there are already a good number of similarly enabled USB lanterns in the $30 price range, and a few "fancier" ones in this $50 price range-- so for me, this isn't quite a five-star item. It IS, however, a solid four.I am really enjoying this light! Seriously, I’m just totally delighted with the thing—more than is probably reasonable!I‘m a big fan of home lighting. I love the lighting area in IKEA, thoroughly enjoy smart lighting…it’s just a nice way to change the feel and convenience of a living space. This lantern is very impressive, especially for the price! It puts out a lot of light, I like the adjustable color temperature, and the rechargeable battery is fantastic.I have a couple minor complaints:[EDIT: I was wrong, the brightness setting is saved, but is set for each color temperature separately...this works just fine for me! Ignore the first criticism that follows.] First, the brightness setting isn’t persistent. So if you turn it on (short press) and then dim the light (long press), then tap the button again to change to another color temp, the lamp jumps back to 100% brightness. Similarly, if you cycle through the color temperatures to power off, it doesn’t save the previously dimmed setting.Second, it would’ve been nice to be able to turn the light off somehow without cycling through all the color temperature settings.A note on the rechargeable battery. The indicator is INSIDE the USB-C charging port (see picture). It is red while charging and turns green when it is done. It’s a little tough to see, but nice that it doesn’t get in the way of the design.I hope the battery holds up over time. It is t replaceable, and will eventually fail. Hopefully it isn’t for a long time!
