They caused a small fire in the trunk of my car when I was working on trying to get the backlights working, so I could pass a light inspection on my car. The black resistor packs heated up so much that one caught fire on some paper in the trunk.Looks great as they will definitely give your older model Mercedes an upgrade in the looks department. The problem is I’ve gotten stopped by the police “twice” regarding the dimness of the lights while I was engaging on the breaks at a stop light and then again a week later due to one of the lights not working (I had no idea). I’ve had the lights installed on my car now for less than 2 months. I guess I should have left well enough alone since my original lights on my car were working fine as I just thought I’d give them an updated nicer appearanceI replaced my original tail lights with the smoke ones a few years ago but they used light bulbs, I had a socket that would trigger the warning on my dashboard after a few bumps on the road, when I was thinking about replacing the old sockets realized they cost $15 a piece + new bulbs so I decided to spend a little bit extra en buy these LED instead only to realize I should have done it long time ago! They look great and they are brighter! They are great but both does not fit flat but it's okPlugged in lights would only stay on as if I was pushing the break didn’t dim and brighten as I pushed the brake middle lights right one didn’t turn onAfter only 3 weeks getting lights installed led resistor Burnt out now I don’t have tail lights ?All the plugs on both lights were disconnected, looking for a diagram !!
