Definitely makes the room. It is unbelievably soft and my daughter loves playing on it. I had to air it out for a couple days before setting it out due to a weird smell it had when I first got the package. Only downside other then it being obviously hard to vacuum is that it sheds a bit but hopefully all the loose hairs will go away.I absolutely love this rug! It's so soft and beautiful.
